Yeah, I know...they're old school. But I've always liked them. Waited too long to order them, and by the time I was ready, they were discontinued. Kept looking for a used set, with no luck. Then this set came available. Got 'em off ebay from Discount Tire on a "scratch and dent" auction. There's a couple of dings in them, but I figure that with what I paid for them, I can afford to have them fixed. Now, for some decent 17" tires....
Nice rims, Mike. They'll look good on your car. Are you going to lower it now? Seems that low profile tires would increase the gap. A couple hundred bucks on some STs would do it, I'd think.

Thanks, guys. Dave, I'm contemplating lowering it. My main concern is ride quality. I've got a post in another thread, asking someone how they like the ride after lowering their car, but haven't heard back. When you're an old guy, ride quality rates right up there with handling..

Pzero Pirellis. Not only do they grip better than my old dunlops, but in 18" 35 series, they ride BETTER than my old 17" 45series dunlops!
Best! Ben.
