After wading in the Fiero experience for 6 months I have gone in a little deeper.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Proud-2

Proud-2 is a 1988 GT, 5-Speed (Getrag), Beechwood/Tan leather interior, V6 (of course), 58,000 original miles

Bone Stock and fully loaded with every option except lumbar and rear window defrost.

I picked it up from a Lone Star Fiero Member, (not active on the forum) so the number of Fieros in the greater Houston area remains the same.

Here is Proud-1 and Proud-2 together (or Proud-One and Proud-Too)

I plan to change to gray interior, (call me nutty but I don't care for beechwood, if you need any mint condition beechwood interior parts let me know.

Other planned mods may include a trip to Archie's Place?

I would be interested in the Complete interior if the price is right. I also live near archie, so if you wanted to swap stuff then, I could meet you there. I have a nice interior in my car, but I dont know what you want for trade.
PM me or email me if interested,

Bring it to my house sometime, and leave it! I love the beachwood interior personally, but mine is still nice, so I don't need anything. Get in touch, we oughtta get together sometime.

Was that Greg's car? I haven't seen it, but would like to. Congratulations... looks like you're really going to enjoy it.

I would love the beechwood seat skins and carpet. Keep me in mind please. Course I love red 88 GTs with the beechwood interior. That car really looks sharp. Nice find.

Yes this was Greg's car. I keep trying to get him active on the forum. He has a sweet Formula with an L98 project he's working on.

I'd love to get together with the other H-Town Fieros. Let's pick a time and place.

Why not keep the Beechwood for a little while? I'll bet it'll grow on you. The gold wheels just don't look right with a grey interior. Red exterior/Beechwood interior... very Ferrari like.

That's really nice! I might be obtaining my first Fiero within the next week and a half or so. It's an '87 GT, medium red metallic, 5spd., 97000mi, 9000 on rebuilt engine. Check it out a www.tgowens.com/GT_for_sale.html. Sounds like sweet deal, and now I won't have to bum rides from my buddy in his Prelude. I'll be representing the domestics!

Whoa, swapping out beechwood for grey on a gold wheel red 88 GT?
It's your car dude, but damn that's a bad idea.
Of course, this is only my hayseed opinion.

WOW! BEAUTIFUL CAR! I'd think again about changing the interior though unless you're gonna change the wheels too. Personally, I like it the way it is.

Wow, that is a beauty, and it has leather.
Please just think twice about swapping the interior color, unless your going to change the rims to black. (and in that case I'll take the rims.

I guess I should have mentioned that I plan to change the wheels to polished aluminum wheels. 17" Prime 705s is my first choice. Look at SkiTime's car if you want an idea what they look like.

I've owned a red car with 17" polished aluminum wheels and gray interior, and that's the look I want. Whoever wants the stock wheels let me know.

By the way, thanks for all the compliments, I am excited about my first GT

I also think you should keep the beechwood for a little wile. It may grow on you. I know a lot of people are now starting to go with the tan & black look. That is what I did on my Red 88.
