my dad finnally said he had the time to help me tow the 85 coupe home. after we got there i changed the ignition lock cylinder, then we found out that the left rear brake was locked up. after prying the pads apart we hooked up the jumper pack and found out that the clutch safety switch was bad or missing. we used the starter to put the car on the dolly when i got it home i asked on the tech section how i could open the decklid, they told me to drill the lock out. so i did and found out that the distriberator and map sensor are pulled off the engine. in the truck were 2 distriberators with 2 differant connectors,a map sensor, 2 air cleaners, and the right vent. 1 air cleaner has a throttle body attached to it. i hooked up the jumper pack and checked everything out. the headlights, turn signals, brake lights, electric windows and everything works good. i looked up front and found the air deflector for the sunroof too.

what i "might" do is go to the salvage jard and try to find a fiero body that is missing some body pannels and interior i can get cheap. then put my 85 parts on it and use it as a spare car.

think it was worth $50?

The first picture from the rear looks like the car is twisted. Just an optical contusion?

Was the $50 worth it, heck ya. Do you think the engine will fire once everything is hooked up right? Need any help you know where to go and who to ask.

Nice find, it's a start even if it ends up being parts. That kinda rhymes doesn't it?

it looks twisted because my camera is a cheapie. i think it might fire once i hook everything up and figure out why it wont spray any fuel out. it will be hard getting a title for it so what i am thinking of doing is going to the salvage yard, buying a fiero body with missing interior and body pannels. then putting the 85 coupe parts on it. i once bought a 83 cutlass body in fair condition for $300, so a stripped fiero body should be cheap. if it turns out i need a engine, i have a 86 celeberity just sitting. it runs good and has a 2.5
