Who has the last Fiero ever made. I read about it once but have never seen pics. I heard that it has 0 miles on the odometer. If it is a forum member I would love to see it. If not does anyone have any info on it. Just wondering.

The last 2 fiero's were given away to two plant emploies. The last Fiero was towed to it's home and was stored by the owner. It is said that he recently put an ad in a paper .. he was asking $90 000 for it. The last Fiero is a red GT.

Can you imagine how somber the attitudes of the employees must have been on that day? Gives me chills just thinking about it!
[/B][/QUOTE] I've worked with people who were at the plant the day the last car came off the line. They told me it was a very intense emotion moment with a lot of crying going on. A lot of people were very upset because magazines finally had a lot of great things to say about the '88 model. The employees thought they had a winner with only better things to come, and thought GM might reverse the decision at the last minute. That after noon, addition security had to be brought in due to employee protests against GM Management.

There was a newspaper article written about him in the early 90s... he was still laid off from Pontiac at the time and was in pretty bad shape financially but he refused to sell his Fiero, which he kept in new condition.
I suppose he still has it, in new condition. It could be worth that much someday if it's kept in showroom condition with no miles.

Probably, since the Fiero plant was only able to paint one color at a time. They made a few hundered Fieros of one color, made the change in the paint system, then a few hundred of another color and so on. That's also why they limited the number of different colors that they produced each year, to keep the number of times that they had to make the switch down.

John....I still owe you that Miller Lite. I won't get in until late Friday nite because of daughters conference track meet.
I will also be at Minnesota's Fieros Forever Spring Kickoff May 18. ( Another shameless plug.)
