Anybody know on the TH125 which is the pressure line (top or bottom)???
Also, same question on the radiator tranny connections. I'm adding a cooler and was hoping someone knew the answer.

Yes tere is but I'm adding another where the air cleaner used to be because of the V/8 swap. I don't know which line is pressure and which is return and it makes a differance. The book says pull a line and start the car, only problem is I don't have an exhaust system yet.

Wow... what confidence

I honestly don't know off hand! I'll check around a bit and see what I can find out... and let you know! (unless someone else here knows right away).

I'll be back (as if I ever leave)

Well... I did a bit of checking and got the same response you did: unplug 'em and turn the engine on. I'm having my Dad check a Tranny reference manual to see if there is anything there.

My suggestion is to get some good ear plugs/muffs and fire that engine up (hopefully you've at least got a header for it). Again... I'll let you know if I find out anything else!

It realy doesn't matter which line you put it on. the net cooling effect between the two coolers will be the same. The only difference might be that if the rad cooler is first in line you might see sightly higher water temp, but not enough to be a problem.

Ok, thanks. The instructions that came with the cooler wanted it on the pressure side. Talked to Archie and I think I have it figured out. I want to go thru the cooler first. I mounted it where the air box used to be behind the scoop and left the rubber hose running up to it to force air thru.
Thanks for the help everybody!

Not ready to fire it up yet, I couldn't run the shorty headers because they hit the back of the auto trans. Had to go shopping in the junkyard for some Chevy Ram Horns. So I have a set of shorty headers for sale if anyone wants them cheap.
