I took the camper on a drive today. I only have a few details to go over yet (adding trim and some paint etc.). It pulled just fine. I took it up to 75mph (only for a mile because it was a 55 zone). You could tell it was behind when going over bumps around town but acceleration was fine.

Here are some vital statistics.
Total weight …660 lbs
(including generator, 5 gal gas, and
cooler full of soda and ice in rear cargo)
Tong weight…70 lbs
Length tip to tip…11'6"
Height (ground to top)..5'5 ˝"
(Fiero is 3'10")
Trailer bed…3'6" X 7'9"
Sleeping area…5'8" X 3'4"
(4' at highest point)
Sleeping area door 2' X 3'1˝"
Rear cargo…2'wide X 1'7"high X 3'4"
Inside lined with paneling
Top covered with .0595 gage stainless steel
Sides covered with 1/16" plastic composite

This link is when I first started the project. It has pictures of my hitch about half way down the first page. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/014927.html

Hey nice job. it seems a little heavy, but it looks like it's built really well. I had my doubts at first but you did some fine work there.

I too was shocked by the price. You really saved yourself a ton of money by doing it yourself.
