Good lord, Yahoo maps gave me a long list of roads to take ! Anyone have a better route ?

They show US 17, that's not a good road to travel w/trailer (two lane mostly)

Have Dave did you select shortest route in the options? Last time I did that Map quest had me zig zagging thru all kinds of back roads.

I ran the route from Ft Myers to the Holiday Inn on my Rand McNally program and came up with this route.

I-75N 121 miles
I-4E 133 miles
I-95S 4 miles
Step 39 on exit 85
State 415NE 4 miles
Fl A1a 3 miles Holiday Inn

270 miles total

Down side, drive expressways around Tampa and Orlando. How much traffic at what time of day?
