Well, if he's going to be an X-friend and you want to be a monkey on his back, come up with a price for the damage and take the money. Keep track by documenting how much you take until he pays up. I know the weekend warrior type if that's what you mean by "friday to friday". It would teach him a good lesson and you might make a couple of bucks. If he doesn't pay, he'll have a monkey on his back that will torment him if he has a conscience.(sp?) If it's all too much of a hassle. Burn that bridge. (like it sounds you're doing)You don't need to be associated with people like that.

I got the PM, but I replied to it and it said there was an "Internal Server Error"..
I basically said that it is good that you are trying to laugh at the situation, rather than try and kill the guy who backed into your car.. If there is anything you need make a list
"These are the time's I wish I believed in credit card's..."
If I remember correctly you do need a credit card to start up a Paypal account so I doubt he can get one. I have one and I would be willing to use mine to gather the funds and then I can send him a certified check. I know I not known very well on PFF but Oreif can vouch for me. What do you think folks? We could put a time limit on it. Even with just a little from the regulars it would definately help him out.
Hey smooth...I'll send u 5 bucks as well...to my calculations that is 20 bucks so far...we only need a couple more...let me know were I can ship! And if there's any misc parts u need I have a 86SE parts car...Let me know...sorry no front fender...

I am VERY new to this community, but it has been of great help to me so far. I think that you even helped me out once. I do have a 84se (regular fascia) if you need any of the internal support parts, I don't know if they will fit ot not. Consider them yours. LMK
Are you still going to Daytona? If you don’t have one by then let us know and I bet you will have several to pick from. I bet you could pick up two or three

If you can use it your welcome to it, it was my R&D fascia. Its not going to mess you up with the centerpiece cut out is it? I was given the fascia when I purchased a gauge cluster for the Coupe, I had planed on installing it on the coupe but without the lower ground effects I was not able to make it look right. I never liked the look of the center divider on the opening and didn’t want to just cut the one on my GT, so I tested it on this one. No center divider If you look here you will see a small crack and part of the filler is gone. If you plan on smoothing it in it shouldn’t be hard to fix. Check your PM

still searching - but I know I have the supports here somewhere, I had boxed them up a month ago and they were supposed to go to someone on here but they never called back - they have to be here somewhere!!!!
Ok Smooooth is going to use my fascia all I need is help with shipping.
If I can squeeze it in to a box that UPS will take it, it will be:
UPS Ground Total Rate (USD) $22.69
Weight: up to 70 lbs. Dimensions: 66x22x10 in.
If anyone has a better option on shipping let me know. I am going to make some calls and see if I can find a local company that will allow me to package it better.
If you want to help you can send me the money. Please PM me and I will give you my address. Please no subscriptions to Hustler

You know... I started this thread because I know thjere are a few people on this forum that really like my car. I just wanted to let everyone know what happened to The Smooth GT. This has been a very long project for me as I am not usually very patient with project's as I can get bored with them and move on to something else (ADD I think)..LoL I NEVER EXPECTED the response that I have gotten. I want ALL forum member's to recognise like I have that THIS IS A GREAT COMMUNITY!!!! Yes we have our flame war's and everybody get's over them and really don't hold grudges.. I know that I don't!! I just wanted to say thank you all.... You mean the world to me!!! I mean that!!!

hey jake if you can't get it to fit into a UPS box, try sending it greyhound. i think they'll ship something like that for like $25 too. you would have to drop it off and smooth would have to pick it up, but it sure beats sending something like that freight... hope it works out...

Smooth, I suggest having a LARGE cold pitcher of Lone Star beer (or other suitable brand) grab some buddies and you will find consilation to ease your pain. Sorry about your wreck. That rotten jerk did a bad number to you. Try suing him.

Smoooooth GT: OK, looks like you've got a fascia and possibly some support brackets for it. Are there any other parts you'll need? If so, LMK and I'll see if I have it.
Also, I understand that you'll need more fiberglass supplies so you can "smooooth" the replacement fascia. Let me know what type of glass fiber cloth and resins you prefer, and I'll see if I can have some supplies headed your way.
Catch ya later bro.

I also want Jake to keep a record of those that have helped in one way or another... Those will get repaid in one way or another... I mean that too!!!!
This is amazing, this by FAR has to be the tightest knit community on the net. I love seeing this kind of kindness. I would love to help, but I have nothing to offer, and my Canadian money is useless . I'm just in LOVE with the Smoooooth GT. That car is so unique. I can't wait to see it finished and I've sure that there's MANY MANY MANY others that feel the same way.
Good luck with the GT smooth, hope to see it finished soon.

Hey anything you wanna send to TN to get my poor dead fiero on the road hehehehehehe
I am really pleased to see everyone helping smooth out so much. It really warms my heart to see the community come together in such a great cause. I wish I could help myself, but unfortunatly I cannot I have 2 broken down cars I can't fix myself.
Anyway Steve good luck getting her back together. I want to see it finished.

Hey, guys....I'd like to help out too. Hey, Steve, you sure your friend isn't the one that's been tearing up the pavement in your neighborhood? J/K, but seriously, did you ever run the guys plate at the DMV and is he still acting like an ass?
Jake, you have a PM!

WCF: Brackets? Dust from his desk?
Plus with what Smoooooth is going to send I should have more than enough. It will allow me to package it better and maybe find a better place to send it with. If I don't find a better place it will probably be UPS but I am still calling some places on Monday.
This is great that we have an opportunity to help each other, I have been interested in Smoooooth’s car from the first and hope to see it in person one day.
