no fieros. when i thought about it, over the time since i started going to car shows (not that long. got into cars kind of late) i can't remember seeing one excecpt for once at a local out door show (one indy). also a couple of fiero based kitcars, but someone who didn't know probaly wouldn't associate them to fieros.

i was at carl caspers custom auto show. some of everything. i guess fieros would have been compared to the imports, or i did anyway. one thing i noticed was the lowered hondas (and lowered every thing else. there were maybe a couple of lifted trucks) and thinking they were about the height of my fiero with regular suspension. also the big stereo systems or no system at all and thought about my light system idea. looked at an nsx and thought a nicely done up fiero might sit well with it, maybe even with the pantera and ferrari i saw too.

i think i'm going to try to if not compete in a car show, at least have something nice enough that it could be displayed as just a car at the show. might be an interesting goal.

I went to the 50th Autorama at Cobo today. Lothar's(sp?) Northstar Fiero was there.

I was thinking about the same goal while walking around. I'd like to do a big indoor show like that, even if I don't win anything. Just to go and have fun and be apart of the action!

You're not alone, Good Luck!

Really? I was there today and I only saw 1 fiero that was for sale and a sad f-40 kit car that was for sale as well. Nothing in the actual show. Where abouts was it?

I was there too. I towed my friends SPL car to the show for him to compete in MECCA. Wish I would have bumped into you. I was wearing a fiero shirt too.

Here's some of Carl Casper's creations:

Van:

Don't recall the name of this, but its wild.

Pinball wizard. Yes, that's a pinball machine built into the rear.

Carl also produces Hollywood cars:

Knight Rider's KITT. Would make an awesome fiero interior:

The A-Team van

Hydraulic's show. Don't exactly understand this "sport"? These cars always break, or catch fire. Sounds like a train wreck everytime they bounce off the ground.

This was a huge show....cars, celebs, vendors. Worth the drive down.

I was at the the Autorama in Detroit at Cobo hall, I don't think this is the same show we are talking about.
