Did you ever see a Fiero somewhere and wonder who owned it and maybe even posted "saw Red GT in East Jibip on Monday anybody own that car?" Well I've started to hand out, put under the wiper, cards that I print out of Word on card stock to unattended Fieros in hopes of rounding up the 'strays'. See sample of the verbiage on one side and the Fiero emblem on the other.

I see you own one of only 370,000 Fieros ever made. I own 4 of them. Many people think they're great cars and I'm one of them. If you would like to talk to me or meet other “proud”, that's what Fiero means, owners, call me at 610-XXX-XXXX or search the internet for MAFOA, Pennocks Fiero Forum, or just Fiero. There are over 3,000 websites with info. I'm Fierobruiser on forum and Mid-Atlantic Fiero Owners is my club. Bruce Homeyard, Gilbertsville, PA

I've done the same. If I happen to see a Fiero parked at a shopping center or what have you, I slip one of my SOFA cards under the windshield if the owner is not around.

I really haven't thought about doing that. I have gone so far as to follow them home and then proceed to bang on there door till they answer and harrass them until they give up and either join the club or shoot at me as I run away! That may be a safer idea though.

i've seen fieros and scribbled out a note and stuck it under the wiper blade quite a few times. guess it's not professional enough 'cause none of them ever show up.

Somehow, Steve, I think it would be kinda awkward to be "smooooth" about it
