After reading through the production numbers and the stats that CoolBlue87GT posted I was kind of amazed about how many Fieros were sold in 1987. With only 2,139 Fieros sold in Canada according to the numbers, I guess the Rare in my username really resembles it now. I was just curious to know how many people on this forum own a Canadian based Fiero. I would like to know who owns one, what year and what model. If anyone has the exact stats for the 1987 Numbers in Canada please post them. Thanks.
I think mine is extremely rare becasuse it is a Candian car (sold from the factory in Calgary at Stampede Auto) and it has the T-Tops that were done at the dealership, it wasn't a custom add on after. Mine is an 87 5speed GT with the 2.8 of course, T-Tops, and it was the metallic red with grey combo paint. If it were the brighter red then it would be even that more rare. O well.

When I bought my 87 GT, I had no clue it was a Canadian car until I was on the highway and saw that I was doing 100, when that was 100km/hr. I wonder if I could find out where my car was made and what number it is. I wonder out of those 2,139 Fieros in Canada, how many of them are GT's and a 5 speed w/a sunroof in my burgandy color.

1) 86 GT .. I'm the second owner.. I think the original owner bought the car in Quebec City .. since then it's been moved around with the owner.. It's now in Montreal.
2) 87 SC .. 3rd Owner.. No idea where in Canada it's from.. but it is a Canadian car.
old cars:
84 SC, Canadian car from Ontario, parts car.. was eventually stripped and junked.
84 2M4, Canadian car, had it for 2 weeks, frame was bad, got a refund ... it's probably junked now..

Mine's a Canadian 86SE 2.8L 4spd, gold. It was bought at the Pontiac dealership in Regina Saskatchewan, I bought it from the original owner in Medicine Hat, AB, and now resides in my garage in Calgary, AB.
ALL Fiero's, even the Canadian ones were made in the same plant in Pontiac Michigan..

So all Fieros were made in the USA? But there is still a small amount of Canadian cars versus USA ones. 2,139 is what I saw that CoolBlue87GT posted. I was just wondering if there was a breakdown of this number in 87 with options, colors and so on. I would like to see how many of my cars were made in that year with my specs.
Thanks, Amir

Actually it was sold at Jim Gauthiers, that place is right across the street from my work.
What I want to know is how many LT1 Fieros are in Canada? My LT1 will be swapped in 6 to 8 weeks.

86 GT 4 Speed, originally red and grey, it has power windows and mirrors but no power locks which I find weird. It also has a misprint on the decklid, says it has a 2.5l V-6 85 SC 5 Speed red

My fiero is a 87. 2.5 and a 5 spd. It was sold by a Calgary dealership. I think the dealer was carter. (Not sure) Its burgandy on grey cloth. The only options were tilt and rear defrost.

other local fieros within 30 kilometer radius 7 84 SE 3 84 coupe 2 85 coupes 4 85 SE V6 2 85 GT 3 86 coupes 4 86 SE 1 86 GT 1 87 coupe 2 87 SE 2 87 GT no 88's
Theres still tons more Fieros around here, in a larger radius. I can think of another 20 easily.
There are 4 fieros in the local scrap yards, a 85 GT, 86 coupe, 85 coupe, and a 84 coupe. I personally have scrapped at least 10 the past few years. I know of another 6 Fieros in other yards.
I have a 88 T-Top coupe, and have scrapped a 84 SE, both are / were US cars.
The Fiero bug is alive and well in this area.
Oh ya, every 87 Fiero I have seen around here has been med-metallic red! ------------------

Speedo, odomoter, etc. Only Canadian Fiero's have metric measurements on them. Remember that Fiero's were not exported outside of North America. Any Fiero's in Europe, Asia, Australia, etc. were brought there by someone personally at some point.
Furthermore, 1 86SE here.
