I'll be honest. I can't justify paying $400+ for a pair of leather seat covers. But it would be nice to find ones in cloth or vinyl to replace my aging seat covers. And the one-size-fits-all seat covers from the auto parts stores just don't cut it.
NOCONES (Daniel Cummings) has some in his 84 that ROCK! I think he's going to offer them for under $300 (like $2-250?) if you ask...

Thanx Randy
The Fiero Store replacement seat skins are JUNK!! Stay away from them......save your money and buy mint used seats, or Mr. Mike's.
I installed a set of their '86-'87 GT gray seat skins on a guys car and they are atrocious. Wrong color (almost green!?) and ill fitting as well as poor quality.
Just my .02 worth. You'd be better off with some nice mint used seats. What year/model Fiero and what style/color of seats do you have.....maybe I can help you out.

They are not OEM's......the are OEM 'replacements'. Kind of a play on words. It is my understanding that they are made in Korea or Taiwan, etc.
Where ever they are made they are most definitley JUNK!

They aren't that bad. I got a set and put one one. Unfortunately I ordered them before I realized there was going to be NO CLOTH in my interior The only thing I didn't like was the dopey looking fiero logo on it--cheesy recreation, but it works.
THe one cover is on a seat and it looks good! Fits fine. My seat foam is worn a bit so there are a couple of loose spots. But I see the same spots on MR Mikes covered seats.
The one cover has been "used" for 6 months, and the other is in a box. If anyone is interested, I want to sell them.

You either got a "good" set from them or you're colorblind (no offense).......the seat skins I installed were pale green and very wrinkly. No matter what I did I could not get the wrinkles out (I'm not talking small ones wither!).
The logo is minor, but proves how cheaply designed and made they are. They apparently took a mold of a stock logo, but never reversed it again when they went to make the final product. The result is instead of the logo being embossed it is raised.
For the amount of money they are charging the skins should be near perfect.
There's another .02 worth......here's a nickel, keep the change!
There are places around here that will re-upholster the seats with OEM style fabrics for $400 with labor... and give high quality jobs. If you have that kind of money to put down I would go that route.
Fiero Store also has seat covers that are less... $150 I believe. If the expensive ones are that cheap, these must be some real winners. However, most of the cheap covers (like at a dept. store) won't fit the Fiero buckets well and will rip in no-time (from experience with the old 87 coupe!)
Go junk yard hunting for some good seats. Do a search, as seats from other GM cars (like Firebirds) will work too! You may be able to get a good deal!

Within a month (hopefully less) I will be offering Fiero cloth and vinyl seat covers on my web site. (That's in addition to sail panels and decals.) The initial price will be around $260 plus shipping for a set of basic seatcovers using OEM materials. Seat covers will be made using original Fiero covers as patterns. A prototype set has been made and a photo is forthcoming as soon as I get rid of the flu and get back to work. The current production delay is lack of sample seat cover material from the mill. I want this in hand to verify that their "OEM material" does in fact match the original Fiero upholstery.
In addition to complete seat covers I will be offering repairs. So if you want that driver's side bolster fixed with OEM material, it will be $40 plus shipping.
But there is a "catch".
1. You must supply your original seat covers so the foam portions can be salvaged. If your original foam is damaged or if you want new foam parts for any reason, the price will be higher and will depend on the amount of foam replaced.
2. You must take care of removing your old seat covers and installing the new.
Vinyl will be offered in addition to cloth. (I will not be offering leather since this would be in competition with Mr. Mike.) Pricing will depend on material choices and details. Multiple colors such as used on the Indy (red center section, gray remainder) will be offered.
Also available will be custom shift boots in leather or vinyl. For example, if you have a red car and want a red shift boot, no problem. Boots with multiple colors or with color accent stripes are also available. A vinyl shift boot (standard transmission) will be $20 plus shipping. Shift boots will not include the plastic base ring; you will have to re-use your old one.
I'll post a notice when the seat covers and shift boots are ready to sell.
MrFiero: The seat covers will be for my daily driver, 1987 4-banger SE with grey interior (has the dark stripe with pegasus logo). My passenger side seat cover is in pretty good condition (one small cig burn in right side bolster), so I really only need one cover.
To Everyone Else: I'm really only looking for something of OEM quality to replace the very worn cover on my driver's seat. I'm not going to be installing wood dash or leather interior or anything like that with my daily driver, because...
1) I need to spend as little as possible so I can devote more cash and time to the Black Sunshine project
2) The replacement seat cover will see just as much wear and tear as the original one it's replacing.
The daily driver isn't going to be a show car, or anything even close. I just want to get the car restored to some semblance of OEM condition. I've already gone through the mechanicals and fixed every bug I could find, now just working on the cosmetics. I'm just tired of the ill-fitting aftermarket covers that you find in the auto parts stores. Thanks for everyone's help so far.

OK.....so you just need the drivers seat back, or bothe the seat back and seat bottom? I think I can help you out either way.

Does anyone have some old seat coverings they want to get rid of? Just need the pattern I'm to chicken to go tearing my seats apart because I kinda need them untill I get new ones. But I'm trying to match my seats to my custom interior sets. imitation leather (vinyl (SP)) Can't afford real leather, yet. But theyre not very $$ to make, so let me see what they end up looking like.
I never said the fiero store seat covers were good or bad he just asked if there were any places that had them so i said the fiero store, but for that kind of money i would spend another 50 and get some Mr. Mikes, (GT STYLE).
