I finally got my amp for christmas and got it all in my car. I have my 8" rockford HX2 in my home made box. It is in the passenger footwell. I then mounted the Rockford 500.2 amp in the trunk under my glass viewing pannel. Wiring wasn't that bad because the engine is out of the car right now. It sounds great! I haven't even turned it up half way (the amp has its own volume control) and it is louder than I need. I love it... now I just need to get my engine back in.
