I am considering after market wheel and tires. I would like to know what aftermarket wheel / tire combos are on your cars. Also if you had to change something in the suspension to make them fit, you know like coil overs . Please include Wheel size , width and backspacing if possible. Also include the tire size. Pictures would be nice.
Thanks, Lou

Mine are Moda R6 17"x7.5" with 215/45ZR17 this is a plus 2 size and you don't have to worry about recalibrating the speedometer. I got them from www.tirerack.com .

Car in my sig:

Enki Phlanex 17x7"-40mm offset with
215/45/17 front
235/40/17 rear.
Totally stock 88, fits great, love 'em.

The car below (silver Formula, N* project car)

BBS Porsche Sport Design 996.
18x7.5-50mm with 225/40/18 front
18x10-65mm with 265/35/18 rear (!)

Extensive mods, custom coilover suspension and hubs to carry 5x130mm wheel-bolts, and ajustable +-1/2" in track to stuff the huge 265s in the rear. Not completely finished, pics are just set in the whells. I think this is just about the biggest you can go...

Best!!
Ben.

Primax 618's 17x7 from Dynamic Wheels.
205/40/17 Nitto Extreme 450 ZR tires front and rear.

It's a little firmer ride but I like the look.

I'm thinking about getting some 17's for my fiero. would 215/50/r17's work ok, or should i just stick with 215/45/r17's i wouldn't mind a little diff in spedometer, as the duke with the 4.10's could use a little help on the highway 2700-3200rpm is bad.. bad bad

I have American Racing Carrera's:

front is a 16x7" wheel on Falken Ziex 502's
225/50VR16
back is a 17x7.5" wheel on Falken Azenis's
225/45ZR17
Maybe it's because I have a notchback, but if I go any wider in the rear it will rub the seat the strut sits on. Right now, I can barely get a finger in between the tire and strut. As of now I am not lowered at all, That strut "seat" is stationary right? After I lower, it's not gonna drop at all, correct?

Not current pics. Finally got my POS digital camera working though. Picture quality is piss poor, but it works. Will try to snap some pictures this weekend when I have it outside in some decent light.
