Is anyone else running thier fiero without these chatter clips if so I feel just as bad for you as I do for myself. Oh yea my point is if anyone has one that they can spare I would gladly pay s/h. I bet most are just like me just trying to keep it alive and refusing to trade it for anything.

These are the clips that hold the inner brake pad to the cylinders. I too am missing these clips when I changed the rear brake pads. You can hear some clanging when you hit bumps at lower speeds if you have the windows down. Almost sounds like an exhaust rattle.

Who can afford the clips? They are/wre outrageous from GM. I am running my Formula without them, however I used a lot of "EMP" on the backs of the pads. "EMP" is the name given to the disc brake quieting stuff that comes with new brakes, usually the fronts. It's not the "real" name per say, like Xerox isn't the name of every copier out there, but it was one of the first manufacturers, so it got the name. Anyways, the pads are quiet, and no clips!

I have some as they come in the rebuild kits even for the front calipers.

I believe you need four and I should have four unused ones.

Let me check and I'll repost if I have them.

My rear brakes had been rattling for as long as I had the car, even after getting brake work done. Last month I took the car up to the guy that did my engine and he looked at them and said that I was missing some springs and stuff (I forgot his exact words :rolleyes . Anyway, they're pretty quiet now and the parts were about $27. He gets all his parts through NAPA.
