Well there is a guy down the road from me that has had this 86 SE sitting in his yard for a about a year, today i went down offered him some money, he gave me all the parts and i had my friend tow me home with it:

the clear coat is pealing so i have to paint it - any suggeestions? I want it red but what color ground effects ect.. (I have a spoiler for it

I guess the guy stoped driving it cause he blew the head (worped by .006; 2.5 Duke) so instead of my putting the body panels and subwoofer/brake light.. into my 84 this is that my plan is:
Put 84's Cradle with Caddy engine/Tranny into it
Put 84's Seats in
Put my 88 Spoiler in it
Put my 88's cluster/rally guages/trim.. into it

Should turn out nice hopefully
BTW: '88 was a totaled car i got from junk yard.

IM HAPPY hehe!! Kyle, Oh yea I have to pull everything off my 84 and send it to the scrap yard (mom dosent want me haveing 3 cars )

Sweet find man! Thats awesome. I say if the frame and all are great, but the caddy in it and all that. Would be one sweet ride.

Congrats!

Whats wrong with the 84? If nothing is wrong don't kill a fine car for nothing.. but good find for the SE... how much did ya pay?

If you want red, do the whole thing red. I think it looks better. I also suggest trying to find the 84 a new home that isn't a junkyard. You never know, you might make a few bucks.

200$ i got it for, not that expensive but more then i think i should of paid for a non running car; oh well.... the 84 is nothing great paint is Alright, Interier is Okay, I dont have a running engine for it - maybe i could get $50 for it but still 50$ or keep parts incase i break somethig on my new 86... Junk yards want like 30$ per body panel. heh

Great find. Put the caddy motor in it and all the other parts. Then paint it all red.

Now you have to change your sig.
