Check out Archies post from about a week or so ago...I believe it was called "$4k V8 to begin" or something to that affect...it has what you need to know.

trust me.....at least just buy the econo kit !!! better savings than buying a piece at a time. archies parts are meant only to fit with his parts, so if you try to mix and match key componets from other sources your wasteing your time and money.
i feel that if archie was going to post indvidual prices he may be spending a lot more time on the phone explaining on how installation is done due to many people only getting 1 or 2 pieces from him and not his video and his kit. just my opinon...

I already talked to archie about this.
I'm a college student so i cant afford 1000 bucks, when im spending money on school and my other 2 cars plus my garage.

I just need to buy the pieces one at a time until i get all the pieces for the economy kit.

instead of buying one piece at a time, maybe archie will work out a payment plan with you. break up the payments into 4 or 5 equal payments. just a thought. i dont knwo if he would want to do that.

I know how you feel fierospeeder. I'm a broke college kid too, but I just recieved my economy kit from Archie last week. I bought my fiero (engine knocking horribly) nearly a year ago, drove it into the garage, and started what has quite possibly become the longest fiero v8 swap in history. It kills me to wait this long, but hopefully by next July I will be able to take it on the maiden voyage. Since I travel so far away from home for school I don't get to work on it during the school year, but things are coming along as fast as my schedule and my income can allow.

I guess what I'm saying is take you're time and do things right. There's no rush and it's worth it in the end. And from the looks of it Archie isn't going anywhere. His kits will be available for a long time to come, so just wait and buy the econo kit when you get the cash.

What? you can get a used kit for $1000? how does this virtual swap work. I read about it earlier but did not understand..........do we find the parts ourselves?
