Lisa I am very sorry for that nasty post I put up last night. You did not deserve even the smallest fraction of what was said there. I hope you can find your way to forgiving me and the others for such uncalled for nastiness. I never intended it to be a bashing session. I sincearly regret hurting my Fiero sister in such a cruel way. Please don't leave the forum because of my stupidity. It is I do not deserve to be a Fiero Member here since I'm not very proud of myself right now.
Sincearly Sorry Fiero brother 84Bill
I ask that only apologies and bumps be posted here so that Lisa might see it. Thank you guys

I'd be happy to accept your apology on FieroLisas behalf if you would send me (1) yellow 1988 GT (with Ttops, please). I'll be sure to pass it along to Lisa (although I've never met her and probably never will).

I been busy and not in the forum too much last few days. I missed all the Lisa stuff. I did talk to her on the phone and she was pretty upset. She loves her car so much I think shed marry it if it was legal. I know because Im there she does most of the work herself once you show her how to do it. I dont know many girls, if any ,that do anything except wash them. As far as being a spoiled rich XXXXX, I know a lot of those and not one of them would even be seen in a Fiero (at least in my case knowingly in one),much less own one.No one here including myself just shells out a whole wad of money and does there car start to finish in one shot. Im still messing around with mine after 3 years all the time. Im working on a spoiler rite now. So everyone cut some slack and maybe shell stay. If she was so spoiled and rich, she would be driving a BMW or something. I try not to bash anyone here, although sometimes may look like it. Im just opinionated, takes a lot to change my mind on anything. Anyone can have their own opinions on anything and still keep it civil

Hey Roger- slight offense taken (but not much since we weren't introduced Saturday). I am a girl and I do much of the work to my car and what I can't do, I help with so I learn in the process. Heck, I have 7 engine drops under my belt while helping my dad plus I do all the trim painting and fixing on my car and I have sprayed both laquer and enamel in the past to a friend's GT. I can do tune ups and rotate tires...plus some more...now that aside...I was the girl with Lisa at Carlise. You saw us at the gas station as you were leaving if that rings any bells. I had a Silver 88GT and a silver high mileage 86 Coupe (all the trim & engine painting done by yours truly!). Just wanted to say hi and straighten out that little misconception

Good to see this getting worked out, things can be taken out of context easily when you have text only. By the way, nice car and congrats on the trophy Lisa.

Does this mean all is forgiven Lisa? As a Canadian I feel it is my duty to apologize for the comments of another Canadian. On second thought...Nah...He can do it himself. And I hope he does, it was uncalled for and none of his business. Good job Bill, I hope it's all over. But it was entertaining while it lasted

Sh*t ,Chris is giving out that car for a wedding present? I'll marry him and put up with him for that!!! Well nahhh I like the convertible better, even though he doesn't know how to polish the smudges off his car at shows...
no offense intended Fierochic. You do have to admit that girls that do anything to their cars is an extreme rarity. I know theres a few, in fact now I know 2, hehe. Next time introduce yourself since Lisa apparently wont. LOL. I dont like to seem pushy to girls I dont know.

Jay, I did apoligize before, and this is my first message in over 12 hours on the issue, it was made publicly 3 times and nobody accepted it, since then I have received 2 death threats by email, as well as other people telling me where I should and should not show up to, where I am and am not welcome to.
I apoligied to lisa, both HERE and privatly. Not sure what more I can say.

Hey grin, that's not cool that people are getting all threateny like. I hope you can consider the source and move on. Like I said before, I have totally blown it when getting in back-n-forths with folks, and I think that you have definately learned your lesson and made proper amends. Go and sin no more, brutha.

Well it isn't Lisa Songman, but ya gave me a good enough excuse to post these again Every Fiero needs the right accessories. And before anyone screams in terror about shoes on hoods. It needs painting again anyway
Cheers from Down Under. I suppose this is going to turn into Aus is a sexist pig flame session now lol
Just wanted to add my $.02 worth. You ladies are an inspiration to my 15 yr old daugther. I promised her my 84 SE when she can drive and showed her the pics of Lisa sanding hers last nite and she was excited to say the least!! Which is really great cause the SE needs alot of body work/paint and dad hates sanding And since I promised her the SE, mom says I can go looking for a new "play toy" (read as "Fiero") for myself now

rodgergarrison, now you know 4 ladies who drive Fieros and like to work on them. At work they don't ask me anymore why my hands look like a mechanics. They know I was working on my car again. I'm proud of my car and take a great deal of pride in the work I've done on it. I especially get a lot more satisfaction in knowing I did the work myself. Preparing my car early in the morning at the Carlisle show.

I just want to go on the record as saying I have plenty of respect and admiration for anyone of any sex who works on their own car. I for one am not the type to get all dirty and greasy turning wrenchs. It's just not my cup. There are plenty of people out there ready and willing to take my money to work on my machine. I find it ironic that men spend (waste) half of their money on women and half on cars in order to impress women. I believe men like me would rather pay a woman to work on our car than a man if only because we feel that entering another man into this whole money/car/women equation would just serve to confuse us, and with our simple, primative minds, only bad things could result, not to mention the inevitable sexual confusion. By the way Veronica, my hands are like a little girl's

1) Women's houses are clean and their cars are full of junk.
2) Men's cars are clean and their houses are full of junk.
Reason:
1) After a date, most women know that in most instances the man will come back to their place. Therefore, they clean their houses and throw all the junk in their vehicle.
2) Men know that they have to pick up their dates in their vehicle, so they throw all the junk they had in the car inside their house as they know they won't be coming back that evening.
Just more food for thought.
Lisa, welcome back! And welcome to the other ladies!

My daughter watched me change the rear brake pads on her car, does that count? And before you ask, no she doesn't have a boyfriend (that I know of). She is only 15 so don't ask.
There, I think that will embarrass her enough if she reads this.

cool ladies. How come none of you are ever around when I need some extra hands. Aus, send me one of those, lol. Do they do cloneing in Australia? Most I know dont even want to go cruising unless it involves beer or shopping. One I dated for a couple years had so much junk in her tracker you had to scoop out a place to even sit and I think I had to fix it 3 times from wrecks.
