I sure am glad so many of you people have encouraged me to keep this car. I bought it in October of 99 and 2 months later lost control in heavy rain & wrecked it. What's bringing it back? First, a deal on a taillight from Bill Osmer so great that I can't legally tell you the price

but I'm so grateful, that I may put his name on the car like a sponsor! Second, I'm going to leave the rear bumper the way it is for now, since it's legal and not too much of an eyesore. Third, I'm going to sacrifice
something to pay the frame shop and straighten the metal by the headlight. And lastly, I just found out that the bra which came with the car & I never used will cover the damaged front facia so I don't need to replace it.
As soon as I get that metal pulled, I'll be driving the GT again for the first time in 17 months (except for around the block to keep it running). It won't be as pretty as it was, but that will be taken care of later. I'll be back in a V6 and in more comfort when I go to work than with the Duke Coupe. Here's a few pics. I don't have any digital ones from before the wreck. I'll post some more when I get it ready to drive again.
Oh, and I'll put the gold lace GT wheels back on it, in case you're wondering. And those are water spots on the driveway, from washing the car. I just haven't doctored the photos yet.
