i have gray interior and found these a a junk yard for a couple bucks. there not in perfect shape but will work to keep the dirt out. how can i make them match my gray carpet. i have the factory carpettoo. if i cant dye them gray then ill settle for black. here they are.

*bump* someone must have run into this before. should i bleach them first? or jsut stick to black?

I would bleach them(I did mine), then use fabric dye. I have never had any luck with the spray stuff.Be careful around those emblems!

Someone posted the other day that they use regular RIT dye with some hot water in a spray bottle. Sounds like a pretty bood idea to me, I plan on doing my carpet this weekend.

I don't know JoeJoe, I'd consider selling them and finding a pair of grey ones. I'm sure someone with tan interior would love to have those. If the dying process doesn't turn out as expected, what are you left with?

there not in very good shape as far as the bottoms. thats why i wouldnt sell them. i just want them to keep all the major debris of my carpets. i couldnt sell them for half what it would cost to buy new. thats the reason i would rather try to dye them and have a set that looks ok and fits perfect. so looks like im gonna try to bleach them and get some rit dye at wal mart today.
