Ive seen allot of these pyramid speakers going for really cheap on ebay. I see they have 4X10 and 4X6. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had or heard any? If so were they any good? I'd like to upgrade my cheap radioshack 4X6's to something nicer. If they aren't any good whats the best 4X6 for the fiero? Thanks

In simple works ummm DONT GET PYRAMID!!! BIG WASTE OF MONEY, i have a long story about them, they sound horrible! i had one of there amps to it died within 5 days and it was hooked up correct. get some Pioneers or Poke's If posible look for plate speakers (4" speaker and a tweeter on a plate that fits a 4x6 spot)

YIKES! Pyramid speakers! Run away, run away! They are not worth a plugged nickel in my opinion.

Let me put it this way, I've seen Pyramid speakers for sale at convience stores! Don't waste you're money. The factory speakers are probably better.

Pyramid?

no personal experience, but i've heard pyramid speakers are not worth the cheap price. there's not a whole lot of 4x10 speakers to choose from. kenwood makes a good set of them. and krmfiero is right about the 4x6s. the best way to go is to get a set of 4x6 plates. they are more expensive though.

Your cheap Radio Shack speakers are a large upgrade from pyrimid speakers. I would suggest Pioneer's, Polk Audio's, Infinity's, Kenwood, Alpine, ETC. Infinity and a few others have a 4 X 6 plate that have a 3 1/2" woofer with a seperate tweeter that sound nice.

Yes most if not all Pyramid sucks, but I had a pair of 5-1/4 mid-bass Pyramids..Damn they sounded good, I still have em somewhere, have lasted 7 years so far and still give crisp clean bass like a 5-1/4 is supposed to. But I woudnlt spend money on em...

I would not waste my money on Pyramid. Stick with a name brand. You can find some good cheap speakers on eBay.. (Just do some research before you bid. Make sure they say they are NEW & will stand behind them)

Good Luck

Thanks for the input,
I think ill go with the plate speakers as a few of you pointed out. I allready have a nice pair of pioneer 2 ways in the front. Im also running a pioneer 40X4rms amp. Once I get some good speakers in the back it'll sound nice.

Thanks again
