I picked up my Formula today and man is it nice! It's silver, 5-sp., sunroof, cruise, etc. and has only 281.2 original miles!!! I initially thought it was 231.2, but I was a little off......oh well. I suppose I will have to suffer through with a higher mileage one.

Just thought I'd share.

I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Damnit Jeff, I wish you'd stop stealing my thoughts.

Well, anyways Mike sounds like a real Gem, can't wait to see the pics.

geeesh 281.2 miles, it's about ready to fall apart with all those miles on it.

If you take the window sticker off, it destroys the value of the car....

so what all does Barc. have left to sell?

I guess I'm screwed......the window sticker is gone!

Barc isn't in a big selling mood.......too many people not following through with any deals. He has had several inquiries and I have fielded several myself and nothing materialized. He has traded a bunch of Fieros lately (mostly '85 GTs) and now has a large collection of late model Camaros & Trans-Ams (about 6 or 7 of each) & BMW's (plus some Vettes & '67 Firebird convertibles).

At any rate, he plans on keeping the Fieros he has (at least for the forseeable future). They include:

-'87 GT, silver/gray, 5-sp., 9800 miles.

-'85 GT black/gray, 4-sp., 33K miles.

-'85 GT bright red/gray, 4-sp., T-Tops 34K miles.

-'87 SE burgundy/gray, 5-sp., T-Tops, 36K miles

-'87 SE black/gray, 5-sp., 44K miles

-'88 Formula burgundy/gray, 5-sp., 1333 miles

-'88 Formula, burgundy/gray, 5-sp., T-Tops, 232.8 miles

-'88 Formula, burgundy/gray, 5-sp., T-Tops, 114.1 miles

-'88 Formula, bright red/gray, 5-sp., T-Tops, 38K miles

That's it! He used to have over 50 Fieros, so you can see that he pared down his collection quite a bit. I have personally bought 3 Fieros from him......my 16K mile black '88 GT (had 10K miles on it when I bought it), my 281 mile silver Formula and a 44K mile yellow Formula that I regrettably sold last year (I miss that car!).

RossT bought his red '88 GT T-Top from him too and Tim P. bought his 117 mile '88 GT from him too, so at least 5 have found good homes!

I think he would consider selling his remaining Fieros if someone made a serious offer and wasn't just kicking tires. If anyone is interested e-mail me and we'll talk.

Mrfiero, pardon my ignorance, but who is Barc? Where does he get all these low mileage Fiero's and where is he located?

Hmmm.... do you think $5000 is a good offer?
I would love that car.

rod,

Barc is the owner of these beautiful Fieros and is in the Denver area. He started buying them in '87 (the silver '87 GT was his first Fiero). He fell in love with them and just started buying any and all (as long as they had the V-6 and manual tranny). He especially liked the '85 GT and '88 Formula and at one time owned about 15 of each.

Ross knows him because he bought his GT from him......sorry for the confusion.

Haze,

I don't think he would go that low......I believe he was looking for $7500 or so. A lot of $$, but it is gorgeous (ask RossT).

I have seen most of these cars, and while some may have some dust on them, they are worth the asking price. Cars with simular miles on them go for much much more on autotrader.com. All of his cars are stored inside. My car took some detailing, and fluid exchanges, but looks and runs like day 1, and no leaking.
