I saw a silver Formula today. That's right, the rarest Fiero ever built. Only 261 ever produced from the factory. This one looked to be the factory silver color. A co-worker noticed it and pointed it out to me. I was amazed, but it was gone just as fast. That silver really looks pretty good. My silver SE was out in the lot. With the headlights up, covered in salt and ice, and looking kinda' neglected, and with the long ago expired temporary tag on back. But, they are kind of similar. My SE was in an accident with the p/o and they replaced the outer door panel with one from a silver Formula, they "Formula" sticker is still on the panel.

I like silver Formulas too.....my 232 mile Formula is silver (not 232,000!). They are a rarity, but not the rarest (maybe the rarest Formula, as far as color?). There were 241 yellow '88 GT's and 257 silvers GT's. I have one of these too....temporarily (it's up on eBay right now).

If that silver Formula had factory T-Tops, then you'd have something. Only one or two were ever built (I'm still trying to decipher that).

You are correct Mike. Guess I was so tired, I missed the GT column in my spotters guide. I saw only a glimpse of the side of the car, was busy looking at the "Formula" sticker than looking for t-tops. Then watched it drive away from me. There seem to be an awful lot of '88s around here. There are some weeks when I see a dozen or more different varieties of '88s.

Yeah silver Formula's were the rarest Formula's, many think yellow was. But yellow GT's were the rarest of GT's and all '88s for that matter.

What I want is a t-top yellow formula. Only 43 made...
