They make a stereo that doesn't have a clock? Are you sure you read the instruction booklet right? I can't think of any digital readout radio that doesn't have a clock, not even the cheap ones. Might want to double check the book and make sure you haven't missed a step.

Every one I've seen has a clock. Maybe you guys need to look at something that's not manufactured in Yugoslavia. I still think you guys just aren't pushing the right button.
I reread the booklet three times. If it's there I'm not seeing it.
The Aiwa I have in my Jeep has a clock, this one is the model prior so I got it on clearance because it was discontinued. So I was a bit surprised when I couldn't find instructions in the booklet for setting the clock.
nope. i have older heads that have one. must just be that model. you can probaly get something out of jc whitney. like a digital time and temp or time and compass type deal. or a clock gauge.
Yeah, my aftermarket for my Jeep has a clock like I said, but this one doesn't. I'm thinking I'll get a indoor/outdoor thermometer/clock type setup maybe.
Just thought it would be neat if there was something that would fit in the slot above the tach and look sorta factory.

Hi all, Don't worry about it not having a clock. GO to a junkyard and pull the dash clock from a 94+ mustang. You should be able to get it for near nothing and it's really nice (digital) and would look great in the fiero. Josh

maybe that is true that the newer head units have clocks. i have had 2 aftermarket stereo's in my GT... a JVC, din and a half (it had a clock), and the one ive had for 7 years is a Aiwa (no clock).
but i used to sell car stereo's and you could count on one had (or less) the number of units that had clocks!
it used to be a rule of thumb... the more expensive something was, the less likely it was to have a clock. my Aiwa retailed for over $900, hence no clock!

Sounds to me like Aiwa is getting cheap. Most other stereos, high end or otherwise, are equipped with a clock. I might suggest choosing a different brand in the future.
