I just got a parts car and it has a 140 mph speedo in it. Any idea how rare these things are? I havent decided whether or not to use it in my V8 or sell it. I havent tried it to see if it works yet. If it works are there any takers. That is if I decide to sell.

It's probably a Canadian Fiero with the speedo in kilometers. 140 KPH is approximately 85 MPH, so it makes sense that this is a Canadian speedo.

I have seen companies that make decals with higher number speedos. But that is all they are - decals. Your speedo is not right after that...

I have a 140MPH speedometer for my Fiero. I purchased the conversion from IRM back in 1987. The conversion was only available for the backlit speedo's.

Just thought you might like to know. BTW, I bet you could still get it today.
