I was just daydreaming, and I had a vision of a Lamborghini Kit Wing on my Fiero. Are there any companies you could order "just" a wing from thier kit? Anyone have a pic or seen a Fiero like this? Thanks, Mike Schaefer http://surf.to/fiero

i think that might look ridiculous it's a really huge wing! but if you want one, you could order one from a kitcar place that makes lambo kits, i'm sure they'd sell seperate parts. just watch out tho the riceboys might get jealous

Personally I dont like it, but heres a picture of a car with one. This pic is one of the better ones, It looks even more ridiculous in the other photos. Sorry if I offend anyone.
I'm not sure that this is it, but I think it is. It's on the red GT next to the black one. Also notice that glassed-in chin spolier! Anyway, it is... https://www.fiero.nl/uploads/lowered88gt.jpg

Do you mean the thing on the front that's glassed in? If you do, it's called a chin spoiler, and I think they're available from the Fiero Shop in Canada and some other place. Ask contra. I think he's got one.
Hey! You're from Minnesota too. How's it goin'?

That wing is not a fair reproduction of an actual Lambo "Countach" wing. It has only one stantion support in the center. This pic below is an actual replica of a Countach wing. Of course the car isn't too shabby either! I may take a picture of a black Fiero GT at the same angle, and paste this wing on it to see what an actual Countach spoiler would look like on a Fiero. Maybe do a fastback and a notchback. Hmmmm.

Heres a better angle so you can see the two stantions and so forth. It is a huge wing, but remember, many Countach kits are made to go on a stock non stretched Fiero. The wing stays proportionate to the size of the car. Maybe with a slightly lowered Fiero it would look alot better? I know most Fiero based Countach kits do lower the car also. Just a thought.

I am more bothered by the GTO on the window of that car in the picture than I am by the wing on the back. I love my Fieros but GTOs were my first Pontiac love...

OK, here's some more info about Joe Pistono's 1984 Fiero 'GTO' pictured above. The Ground effects and side scoops are from Mecham Racing in Arizona. The wing is a Formula wing from Pegasus Engineering. All that stuff was done before 1987. Cars and Concepts T tops were added in '88. The wing does have two stanchions, but they are closer together than the countach wing.
Fiero5, are you sure thats a replica Countach? It looks damn good, except that it has 25th anniversary wheels and it's not an anniversary model. Do you know who makes that kit, it looks very accurate.

I was talking to Jody Lemos on Sunday at the Stratham NH car show, which he placed first in the Fiero class by the way, and he was mentioning this thread and said the wing in that pic earlier looked like it was from a Piranha kit. Sure enough, here is a pic of a Piranha kit. Looks the same to me.

Ok, many of you have questioned the Black Countach that I posted here, saying it looked too good for a kit. Here is the link to the site I snagged the pics off of: http://www.watsonstudios.com/lambo/specs.html Here is a shot of the engine in that awsome Countach kit

They must be really close together, as I don't even see a shadow from the back side stantion. Either way, I would't call that a fair copy of Countach spoiler by any means.

This picture shows the two stanchions a little better. When I got my Countach kit, the wing was un-assembled (as requested). The stanchions could be placed anywhere across the length of the wing, and the end plates could be left off if desired. So if someone wanted a Lambo wing on a Fiero, it would be fairly easy to do.
