I was wondering if there are any members in the Greater Toronto Area who woulden't mind helping out a new fiero owner on a upcoming weekend.

I am certainly not mechanically enept, but I would appreciate a little help (paid of course) from someone who is experianced in solving hard warm start and idle hunting problems.

SO far I have replaced the dist. cap, rotor, pcv valve, and air filter. I am going through everything I can find from the forum, but would appreciate any help.

Let me know if anyone is available for a short saturday/sunday afternoon get together.

I don't know if I know anyone that would be able to work on saturday, but here is an idea why don't you drop by RSM shop I'm sure they can help you with your problem. They have a lot of experience on these cars. Here is the phone number 416 524 4285 tell them Sillhouette sent you.

P.S. they are in Mississauga.

Cheers

I am from bc, but for idling hunting, may be
you can check the IAC and MAP sensors, those
could be the cause for the idling to dance

hey
i live in toronto, i had the same problem with hard starting and idle problems. Check the EGR tube for cracks, try disconnecting it to see if that fixes it, if so, get it replaced or leave it disconnected (properly of course).

The GTA Fiero Club is having a show this Saturday 9 Sept at the Bramalea City Center in Brampton, Ontario. It is located on Queen St and Dixie Rd. 0900-1600 hrs.

On Sept 10 the show continues at Cayuga Dragway Park in Cayuga Ontario.

There should be some Fiero people there who know how to fix them..

Thanks guys. Im making some good headway by myself, I just don't want to go out blowing money on sensors I do not need to replace. Im really just looking for someone who wouldent mind kicking back with a few beers and shooting the sh%t with me while doing a little work.

By the Way, what are costs for those sensors?

Is Cayuga near Toronto too, I might make the Sunday show? I can't make Saturday show because I'm in a wedding that day and can't talk them into setting another date.

GodSend: Heres my plan. You, me, Contra, and DarkLord sit around drinking beer and shooting the sh!t. Sure, we probably won't get anything done, but it would be cool!
