I've seen smatterings of info on this here and there. I've read various reports on just how much is needed to do a "panel-on" paint job. The smallest quantity I've seen is 3 pints, all the way up to a gallon. Quite a dicrepancy.
I'm fixin' to lay some one mine, currently black, changing it to dark grey metallic with a clear top coat. That it's a metallic makes me hesitant to appraoch it from the "buy more if you need it" perspective, since the amount of metallic flake can effect the color so greatly. And I'd sure hate to have a half a gallon of expensive unused polyurethane sitting in a can getting hard.
