Hey, I know I'm bugging all of you, but, I need some more help. What I need is to remove the inner fenders to take out the small reflector lights. I think that's what they're called. They are the black "linings" inside of the fenders. They are held on by 7mm bolts, but also by screw-type things. Are these rivets??? Thanks.

BTW, I need to take out all of them, but just the rear for now.

Reflector lights?? You should be able to remove them by taking off the molding strip, A small screw or two holds the molding on, take those off and the reflector light comes out.

There is no need to remove the fender well

Yeah, but I need to take them off anyway for a paint job. By the way, the reflector lights I'm talking about are the ones on the rear fascia down by the bottom of the bumper.

Oh, are you getting yours painted too? I have a red 86 GT that I'm getting a red job done on. I'm getting sick of everything though; not enough patience. I was taking off the inner fenders; almost killed myself; had to pull so hard. Who thought of those stupid little "rivets" anyway? They should be shot in the head. Oh, I'll post pictures when I'm done. Should be getting it painted next week sometime.

those "stupid little rivets" are really compression fittings -- pull the center part out (like a nail head) and the larger outer part will then just slip out..........those are all the way across the bottom side of the rear fascia and there is one on each side right above the tailpipe extensions
