Well, my friend in his 94-97 Integra GS-R with a V-Tech wants to drag race me. I fooled around with him before and I pulled away, but Im afraid of him beating me this time 0-80mph, His car is stock and I have a 87GT auto with a flowmaster, accell wires and a K&N air filter. just a few months ago I got a tranny outa a 84 pontiac 6000, what do you think my odds of winning will be? How are the 84 6000 trannys compared to the 87GT 3spd auto trannys?

really shouldn't matter though a GSR is faster than a GT auto either way, esp 0-80. so I wouldn't do it, unless he doens't know how to drive and has a stick shift, ie, not willing to rev the engine, a must in the GSR's

his GSR is a 5 spd. I heard 0-60 times are slower in the integra then a stock fieroGT by like .3 seconds, and the GT's are a little faster then GSR's in quarter mile, by like .2-.4

Could someone give me the specs of a stock 87GT and a stock 97 GSR V-Tech? I think I can take him because the 1/4 mile times are a little slower in the integra then in the 87GT's, Right?

1994 Acura Integra GSR 0-60 in 7.1 seconds and the ¼-mile in 15.5. 1987 fiero GT 0-60 in 7.7 seconds and the 1/4-mile in 16 seconds flat bone stock.

Since you've got a slushbox, you're screwed. You'd have to have a few more mods than you're running now in order to take him in an auto. Most auto V6's are running in the 16's on a good day. But you can always do the ricer blow-by after you lose!

They're right, you're screwed. I know, because my 88GT is an auto as well, and I ALSO have a '99 Integra GS-R. The Fiero will beat the Integra off the line, but after about 40 mph he'll walk away from you.

And the Integra has VTEC, not V-Tech. V-Tech is a phone.
