I just thought I would tell you that I don't have a cat converter on my car. The reason? Well, the 454 Chevy big block V8 in my fiero doesn't like to run with a cat. It likes a straight exhaust better (even though 15 Perigrine Falcons dropped dead just from the noise) It's supercharged, so it gets about 5mpg, but it's not gas, it's alchohol. For all this power, I need to run slicks so it can hook up on that horrible street pavement around here. I have to adjust the carb too, because on downshifts, it seems to be dumping raw alcohol down, sending 8ft flames from the tail pipes (which singed the fur of no less than 26 neighborhood dogs, whom I then put out of their misery with the H&K MP5 I carry in my car without a class 3 weapons permit) My next project? I am putting a military surplus F-14 Tomcat turbine engine in Vista Cruiser, so I can get those illegal aliens and cocaine across the border before the police can catch me.
hahahahahaha............ still cant beat my twin jet engined Fiero!! Gets about 40 gallons to the minute! I have it runnin a little lean due to recent EPA regulations

High powered Vista Cruiser's make my eyes shiny. sniff honk
The ex took my cruiser in the divorce. open weeping
But I kept the Fiero and three kids, what a combo! Life is interesting.
Oh yeah, the kids need some milk, gotta run to town.
Dang, thinking about driving made me space what this post was about.
It'll come back to me, I'm sure. Meanwhile it is a six mile drive to town and the Fiero has new driving lights.
Happy Trails.
And speaking of Trails, no matter how much distance has been traveled down a bad trail, turning around and going the other way will eventually lead to the road turned off from.
Turned off? Turned off? AAAACK My tea water!!

Well to be totally honest.. My car is a fuel burning, no cat having, EPA kicking, black smoke pushing, oil leaking, pontiac 400 w/a sidewinder supercharger turbo system. She does the quarted mile in 2.3 seconds (looks like a rolling smog factory). And i also pour my old oils and antifreeze down the good ol sewer drain..

I think that you guys have gone a little overboard....my coal burning Fiero must not be that bad on the environment?!? My car tends to look like "Pig Pen" from Peanuts. Keeps people from passing me.

I wonder if there's a market for a wood-burning steam engine conversion. Ya' could feed it Sterno Logs through a modified center console door. Rear engine (and rear boiler) of course.
Hmmmm... V-8 Archie, move over. Steamer Steve is "On The Air".
Alternative fuel, even!!! Wouldn't Ralph Nader have kittens?!

...and the decklid vents could double as barbecue grills for all those pesky spotted owls that happen to get caught in the sawmill when you are fuelin' up.

Oh yeah? My glow in the dark machine runs a fission reactor with dual steam release gates. I've recently reduced the number of cabon rods (safety device to stop reaction) and thickness of lead shielding to get a better power to weight ratio.

I saw in a movie once a long time ago, a car that ran off of chicken sh!t. Maybe I'll convert my GT over to that to make everyone happy. The car had a funny yellow smoke though. I glad I don't have smellovision.
