I am installing these rims on my 88 GT as soon as I pick out some tires. The tires will be 215/45/17 in front and 235/45/17 in the rear. What do you guys think.

Honestly? I don't think they fit the image of a GT. Maybe a 4 door Accord or Civic.

Don't fit the "image"? What's that? I think they look pretty slick. What kind of tires are you putting on? Big O perhaps? (hint, hint) They should look pretty slick when mounted.

George,

I think they are killer wheels. Be careful with the selection of tires for the rear though. I had 245-45ZR16 BFG Comp TA's on the back of mine and they rubbed on the strut towers and ate on e of the tires up. When you get ready to put on some tires come and see me, I'll fit you up with some nice ones that fit properly.

Big O I checked out the size with a computer and the difference between the stock 215-60hr15 is height +.17", width +.79" and total circumference +.53" These wheels also have an offset of 40mm which is ideal for the Fieros and helps reduce scrub radius. I will call you on Monday.

Although I personally don't like that many spokes (prefer 5 spokes), I think they look good. Post a pic once you get tires and get them on your car.

Shiner, that is not rice you smell but an 88 GT that is going thru complete transformation. We will start taking items off this week and will have a hood scoop. side scoops (original Pontiac style) and a dark green metalic paint with two coats od clear with pearlessend powder and finally three coats of clear. Then we color sand and polish and then we have to make sure that when we look into the paint we don't fall in. (The paint will look like 10 ft deep) I will post pics as soon as the GT is done. But if you have not seen my GT I posted pics of it as to what it looks like now. For those of you going to San Diego for the western regionals I'll be there with my GT.

Fieroshop, I can definately smell what your cookin' When I decided that I wanted to paint my car green, I had envisioned the same type of wheels as well. Just out of curiosity, what color is your interior? When I get my car painted, I'm thinking of switching the interior from gray to tan to compliment that green. Boy, oh boy, I can't wait to see the finished product! Keep us posted. Keep on Cruisin'
