A friend of mine sent me this link:
http://auctions.marilynmansondirect.com/Scripts/ListingInfo.asp?LotNo=903820&SiteCatNo=827

Current bid is $5,100. Here's the text (verbiage and punctuation unchanged):

THE TRUE MANSON FAN PACKAGE - If this car could only talk!

This 1986 Red Pontiac Fiero Coupe 2D was Marilyn Manson's High School graduation gift from his parents. This Fiero package also comes with a framed letter from Manson revealing his BEST memories in this car, WOW! For added fun, the car will be filled with Manson T-Shirts, CDs and Posters - what more memorabilia could you ask for!

This car has 218,000 miles all put on by Manson himself. It is a 4-Cylinder 2.5 Liter Engine, Automatic Transmission, Rear Wheel Drive. Equipped with Air Condition, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, AM/FM Cassette/Stereo, and a Flip-Up Sun Roof. Retail Value: $2,300.

Car is presently located in Ohio and is the winners responsibility to arrange for pick up. Fiero is in very good running condition.

Thoughts?

I think that I'd be really afraid of what I'd find under the seats, or something......

That was pretty funny, FieroGT. To be safe you'd have to hose the car out...... with disinfectant.

Has anybody seen the Nicholas Cage movie "8MM"? The freak guy who ran the movie company (Dino something...) reminds me of the type of guy like Manson. The sad part is that some Manson-lover will wind up with the car and cover it in red tint, put every single sticker known to man in the rear window and taillights, hang plastic spiders from the mirror, blast god-knows-what over the poor stereo speakers and probably sacrifice some poor small animal in the passenger seat.....(If I've offended anyone, I'm sorry! Someone top THAT! :0

I doubt your average Manson fan can't afford to spend $5000 on a car that's worth about $1500. I bet it winds up in a Hard Rock Cafe somewhere.

Still, I was impressed to see that Manson got more than 200,000 miles out of his Fiero. I mean, he doesn't really seem like the kind of guy who would change his oil every 4K, does he?

Well it's not John Lennon's Bentley, but that guy must be not as much of a freak in reality, and more likely a very smart,uh, business person;most(all)true musicians I know of have the very worst luck with any type of car,let alone an oddball like a Fiero.
I don't know much about his tunes, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like them, the guy reminds me of a junior high drug dealer.

Manson is the latest crack baby looking musician that teenagers can use to piss off their parents. I doubt if most of the people who are bidding on it even realize that it is a Fiero. It could be a 13 year old Yugo (maybe even a Dodge Omni)and whoever is selling it could still get at least $5k for it.

The scary thing is that 20 years ago people thought KISS was the spawn of the devil, now they seem tame. I wonder what people will think is the spawn of the devil 15-20 years from now.

Now i heard rumors that Mansons' Fiero had a couple of its Floor pans removed so that it could bend down and kiss it's own throw-out bearing.

Is that true?

Now that is the funniest comment I've ever read on the Fiero Forum!
