Ok so my moron of a brother decided to take my 85 fiero gt for a drive to get fast food an when he came back he accidently hit the fence pole pulling into the driveway an chipped the front left side really bad instead of trying to find a aero nose in the boneyard i found a 87-88 base coule nose the same as the formula nose im wondering if this nose is a direct bolt on or would have to change the fenders an marker lights as well

fenders are OK, but isn't the bump molding grooved on the 85?

You can repair just about anything on those bumper covers. The new adhesives available are very good.

You'll get a good idea of what your plan will look like if you take a look at This thread.

Keep in mind that you'll need to change more than just the "nose" itself. The eggcrate material underneath is different, the air-dam assembly is different, etc. If there's a donor car, make sure you grab all the stuff you'll need.

You would need;

- The fascia itself.
- The egg-crate energy absorber
- The rounded molding lights
- The air dam pieces under near (they're different from each style fascia)
- The inner wheel well liners (yours as they are now will stick out from the fascia)
