Will 245/40/18 tires fit a Fiero without any issues? Or is that too big?

I currently have 225/40/18 without problems, and I know of some 245/40/18 available. But not sure if they would work.

With a FWD offset style wheel I ran them no issue.

I do, they just barely clear the OE strut spring perch but that will depend on your wheel width and offset, my rear wheels are 18X9 with a 35-38 mm offset. I wouldn't put them on the front though, they might make severe rainy weather difficult to drive in. I've run into that problem with the 225/40R18s on the front and 18X8s on an 86 SE.
