You'll have to be a little more specific about what year your car is, whether it has notchie or fastback wiring for the tail lights, and what year Corvette tail lights you're planning to use.
Regardless, in the stock Fiero the reverse light circuit is separate from all the other light circuits no matter what year you have, so keeping them separate should be a simple matter of splicing the correct wires (light green(12V) and black(ground)) to the Corvette reverse light bulbs. The same holds true for the running lights except the wires are brown (12V) and black (ground). The brake and turn lights will only work properly if you've converted a notchie tail light harness to the fastback style circuits, or started out with a fastback tail light harness to begin with. If you post more info about the current configuration of your harness, then I or someone else can walk you through what you need to do.

I have an 87 fast back with notchie wire harness for taillights. I am using the 80 -82 corvette tail lights with reverse on all 4 (going for the ferrari look). so should i get a pigtail from a corvette same year (80-82) to splice in with? (editeed for picture)

It should be very simple then to connect the notchie Fiero wires to the Corvette lights since they work exactly the same way. If the Corvette lights came with their own bulbs all you have to do is cut off the old Fiero bulbs from their wires and follow these instructions:
1. For the BU lights: Simply use a butt connector or solder the light green wire that went to the old LH Fiero back up light to the power wire to one of the new LH Corvette reverse lights. Do the same for the black Fiero wire and crimp it to the Corvette reverse light ground wire. Now take a pair of new wires and from each of the green and black wires you just hooked up, jumper one each to the second LH reverse light. Repeat for the RH side.
2. For the marker lights: The marker light bulbs must be dual filament bulbs meaning that they can be turned on dim or bright. They will have three wires. Using whatever old Fiero brown wires are closest to your new lights, crimp them onto the wires from the Corvette tail lights that provide power to the dim filament. There should be more than enough brown wires for all your lights. Next, do the same with the black wires except connect them to the grounds of the new Corvette lights. If you Corvette tail lights only have one ground wire each, you can skip this step because you already grounded them in step 1.
3. Turn/Stop Lights: Finally, on the old Fiero harness you will find yellow wires that used to lead to the bright filaments on the LH side and dark green wires on the RH side of the car. Simply crimp those wires onto the wires from the Corvette tail lights that provide power to the bright filaments.
If you're not sure which wires lead to the bright and dim filaments on the new Corvette tail lights, you can test them by connecting the black wire from them to the negative battery post and either of the two other wires to the positive battery post. Whichever wire turns the lights on dimly is the one that gets connected to the brown wires from the Fiero harness. The other one gets connected to the yellow or dark green wires from the Fiero harness.
Post back here if you didn't understand anything or if something is different than the way I explained.

OK, cool. I will have my new lights in, in about a week. I will try this when they come in. I will post here if any problems. One more thing though, are the outsides of the reverse lights goig to light up this way showing the red lit up when applying the break and when park lights are on, beause remmeber - I am goig to be putting 4 of the reverse style light on..... Thanks again., Jason
Taking a closer look at those lights and it appears like the red portion is only a static reflector like a driveway marker, not an actual lamp housing. Only the clear center portion with the reverse light looks like an actual lamp. I'd double check beofre buying if I were you.

If you want all 4 lights to light up with brakes and you want both lights on one side to flash with the turn signals then you will also need to do some rewiring around the turn signal switch. The fastback and the notchback use the same turn signal switch so everything is there to make it work. It's been a while since I did mine but I'm pretty sure I remember cutting the power wire for the brake lights and running it through the turn signal switch. This allows the turn signals to operate properly under braking. Just compare the wiring diagrams for the fastback and the notchback in that area and you'll see what to do.
Im not quite following what your saying, do you have any schematics or drawings?
If you would like to have the lights operate like a notchback, as in all the lights on one side are turn signals, and brake lights then you must take the white wire from the brake light switch and connect it to the white wire coming out of the turn signal switch. Then you must cut the brake light wire at the bulb socket and connect the wire on the socket to the other turn signal bulb. This will allow the bulb to be used as both a turn signal and a brake light and operate correctly.

Again, can you show me a drawing or something, I'm not following. Do I need to go all the way back tothe signal switch inside the car? Tell as if I'm stupid.........sorry. new to this portion of wire splitting.

Yes. At the top of the brake pedal will be the brake light switch. One of the wires coming out of the switch is white. On a fastback that white wire goes all the way back to the brake lights. On a notchback that white wire connects to the turn signal switch on the steering column. By cutting that white wire and connecting the switch end of it to the white wire on the turn signal switch, the brake light signal will now flow through to the turn signals at the back of your fastback. Since the fastback only has 1 turn signal per side and you want to use 2 bulbs you then have to wire the other bulb off of the original turn signal.
You said that you have a notchback wiring harness for the tail lights so this may already take care of that last part, but you will still need to reroute the white wire under the dash.

On my Ferrari kit, I didnt have back up lites at all, but I had red for tail, parking and brake lights and amber for only the turn lights. To get only the amber to come on for signals, i used the existing wires for the turn light that come from the column switch and cut them off of the red ones. I used existing wires for tail and park lights (to the red only) and cut the connection to the amber ones. Then for the brake lights, I ran a new wire directly to the red brake light from the brake pedal switch. If Id had back up lights, Id just connected the original back up wire to only the back up light. Real 77 Ferrari only had back up lights as an option and most dont have them. Mera installed some beside the tags similar to C4 Corvette. Original 308 Ferrai ones were under the rear bumper like fog lights if you ordered them. I think it was only later 308s and 328s that had the back up light inside the tail light lens. I dont remember how the 355 back ups were.
