This is kicking my ass. Can anyone please confirm the alignment for me?

I marked the distributor before pulling and adding a new cam in my 84 duke. I am now trying to get the distributor back in and aligned properly (of course). The coil pickups seem to align with the #1 cylinder at about 20 degrees BTDC. Is that correct? It seems way too soon to me. I am worried I have the cam in wrong or something.

The rotor is just after #1 and heading to #3 at TDC which seems right, but that coil pointer looks way too early.

Thanks for the help.

Ty
