I was showing my father the engine / swap. When I went to turn the key it sounded as though the battery crapped out. I go get a pair of jumper cables hook it to the battery and still, sounds like bad battery. I put the Neg to the frame still "bad battery. I hook it to the engine turns with no problem. A few days ago I had no "battery" issue. What could've gone wrong?

Corrosion maybe a damp day or loose connection have seen this before that is why I always run the main ground from the battery direct to the engine block then a min of two grounds from the block to the chassis. Dan

For whatever reason the ground to the engine failed. Took it off wire brushed and cleaned the bolt, wire "O" tightened it up. And bingo works great!
