wipers stopped working by chasebmx

my wipers decided that today they didnt want to work and now im stuck trying to figure out what happened.
when i try to turn on the wipers all i get is a buzzing sound.
can anybody help me?

Try turning the wipers on, and then moving the wipers by hand. If they move at all, I'd wager your motor has gone bad. The good news is it's a relatively cheap / easy repair.

ON ALL G.M. cars ,the most common G.M.wiper fault is the ground wire screw is corroded,rusty
this does not cause a buzz or any sound,but it will eventually lead to the buzz sound
I am mention this because I have seen this before & recently the past year,experience my self one day when i went to pappys luxury beach house!!
so your first check is the ground wire ,then visible wires
diagnostic start with the simple stuff first,like wire checks, especially on older cars

well i tried what you suggested and the wipers moved only a little bit. im guessing im going to have to make a run to u pull it to get new wiper motor.

Motor ground is a mount screw. Very easy to get loose or corrode...

see acdelco for a list this motor uses same unit.
