Was talking to someone about there experience with a v6 Charger rental car when i thought of the engine. It makes 292 HP, and there supposedly working on Twin turbos for it on newer generations. The question is not if it would fit but how do you think it would do in a fiero?

My wife's got that motor in her 2012 Journey. It hauls that 4800 lb SUV around quite well. You'd probably need EVERYTHING out of a donor car, but I don't forsee any fitment issues other than axles. It's probably equivalent to the GM 3.6 high feature engine.
On a side note, with the 6 speed auto that comes with the pentastar, she gets 24MPG mixed city / highway MPG in that big old Journey, and she doesn't drive particularly frugally.
If you look for a dropout, make sure to get a FWD setup.
The 3.6 litre (3564 cc) LLT is a direct injected version based on the earlier LY7 engine. It was first unveiled in May 2006, and the DI version was claimed to have 15 percent greater power, 8 percent greater torque, and 3 percent better fuel economy than its port-injected counterpart. The LLT engine has a compression ratio of 11.4:1, and has been certified by the SAE to produce 302 horsepower (225 kW) at 6300 rpm and 272 lb·ft (369 N·m) of torque at 5200 rpm on regular unleaded (87 octane) gasoline. This engine debuted on the 2008 Cadillac STS and CTS.[8][9] GM will use a LLT in all 2009 Lambda-derived crossover SUVs to allow class-leading fuel economy in light of the new Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards. In the Lambdas, LLT engine produces 288 horsepower (215 kW) and 270 lb·ft (366 N·m) of torque.[10][11][12]

I'm pretty sure I saw this engine at the auto show this year, in a plexiglass box next a Jeep. It looked about the right size and shape and it's aluminum. Sound like the same one?

I'd think 292hp would make a pretty quick Fiero. The hardest part is going to be making all of the electronics work, I think the pentastar is a drive by wire. There are a lot of modules on a data bus, you need to make sure removing one or more of them won't cause problems. Buying an entire car would make the swap easier and give you the ability to experiment and see what can be removed module-wise without causing issues. For sure you would need to remove the SKIM immobilizer programming from the PCM, there are a few places that can do it, you would just need to make sure your PCM is supported. I like thinking outside the GM box....if you have the time, skill, and resources to pull it off, I'd say go for it.

Before you do anything Chrysler... I'm not sure about the V6, but they have the V8 PCMs locked down and encrypted. They are not tuneable in any way, shape, or form, from 2011 forward. Speculation is that this was because of warranty fraud (install a tune, break the motor, reinstall the stock tune, take it back for warranty repairs) but regardless of the reason, it ain't happening.
The people on the Challenger forums are all raising hell, but nothing has been done. The aftermarket tuners (Diablosport, etc.) have supposedly been working on it, but it's been two years since the 2011s came out and nobody has succeeded yet.
