Ok, so I've been wanting to put this Rear deck lid scoop on for a while and today finally decided to man up and do it. It's off of a 04-05 Subaru Sti. A lot of people that i know usually do something like a corvette or a mustang scoop but i wanted something a little different and possibly "exotic" for the fiero. GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

I like it too. Looks especially good on the car without a spoiler. Is it attached permanently yet or were you getting feedback before you do so? Any shots from the side? I'd even think it would look good moved towards the rear of the car another 2-3 inches.

I like the look, and, yes with no wing or spoiler it still looks good.
As for function, the opening is pretty well in the turbulence zone behind the window. The air you want to capture coming forward on the deck lid will be breaking up about there. I am not sure it will function as well as if it was further back by a few inches, maybe 10.
You can check it though with some ribbon on the trailing edge, set about 2" apart. If the scoop is sucking in, it will pull the ribbons, if not, the ribbons will go vertical and flutter about.
You might want to run a test.
But, it does look good.

I did do a test and at low speeds it releases the hot air from the blower very well... And at high speeds it sucks air in... Around 30-45 was when the ribbons just fluttered around like a dead zone but around 50-60 mph it sucks air in very efficiently...
