There's an archived thread where someone asked if anyone has used 2004 GTO seats, but it received no answers. I was curious, so here's a new thread.
Anyone? 2004-2006 GTO seats? I've seen a couple threads where they've been used in 2nd gen F-bodies but that's about it.

I'm considering seat options for both my Fiero and my 2000 TA and if I want to change them or recover again when they need it. The TA is going to need work soon, and the Fiero has had Mr. Mike's for many years, but the left seat bolster is showing wear now. It held up much better than the factory cloth did, but it will need to be recovered before long. If I stick with OEM seats in the Fiero, it gets more Mr. Mikes, hands down. Nothing else even needs to be considered, but if I change seats that opens up all kinds of options.

I'm not interested in any kind of "racing" seat, either in function or look. My cars are street driven and I'm not into the Fast & Furious look. I prefer an OEM style look that will be comfortable on road trips as well as blasts through the mountains.

Here's a pic of the GTO seats for comparison.

I have a feeling they may be too wide for the Fiero, but perhaps not the TA. If they fit both - bonus!

They're ginormous, yet so, so, comfortable.

15 hour drive? No problemo.

I'm betting they won't fit in a Fiero. I was curious if anyone had tried or took any measurements.

I have an 04 GTO. I ran out and measured the driver seat horizontally from one edge of the seat bolster to the other; it's 22 inches. The seat back was 22.5 inches. I can measure them another way if it would help... Don't really know how much information you would need.

The main issue with the GTO or G8 (or even G6) seats, is that they are quite tall, and they sit a bit higher than the Fiero seats do, as they've got a bunch of power features in most models. Being designed to sit on top of all that equipment, they can be pretty tall. If you can find some base model seats and get the Fiero racks to bolt up to them, you might get lucky though.

How about C4/C5 Corvette seats?

I have a set of Vette seats and they are great to sit IN instead of ON if you know what I mean.

If you want I can post a pic.

The Vette seats fit, but I think the C5 ones need a little more modification to fit the Fiero rails. Even with all the power features, the Vette seats are still shorter than the other platforms, because it's a Vette.

I have C4 seats in an 87 T-Top and they fit reasonably well.
