I changed my gray interior for a tan/brown interior from an 86GT. my tan plastics are starting to look more like tan/dark yellow---if I am going to have to repaint I was thinking about changing to beechwood---I have a tan headliner to install but if I want to change colors does the beechwood interiors have a different colored headliner? I also have some parts that I dont have in tan so I will be painting them---I figure get them all done at the same time---thanks for some help

Headliner color was the same for tan and beechwood.

JoAnne Fabrics also has a nice tan headliner material that is VERY close to the original headliner.

No it certainly was not! I have a yard of original beechwood headliner material stored away and it is darker like the rest of the 88 interior.

I did this a while back. Here is the information I posted about changing over to beechwood.

"1988 and 1989 Medium Beechwood OEM paint code 66BN." I purchased from PPG. Worked great, looks great also.

A thread on swapping over to beechwood:

I covered my headliner with the beechwood. I got it from a local upholstery shop for less than $20.00

My bad, sorry. I have looked at both but didn't notice a difference.
