Trans-Go shift kit has a good reputation. Before you add one, check/fix problems first...
Yes... Properly adjust TV cable is required.
Problem with shifting, especially late/no up-shift, can be a issue w/ governor. Dirt hates the governor...
Do Not mod TV cable! Link above seem to be for engine swaps w/o an OE TV cable...
Note you never mash gas pedal when adjusting TV cable. You will cause problem and ever break the throttle cable.
Most engine, rotate TBI/TB to WOT
87-92 (Yes 92) duke need to rotate idler pulley not TBI
