I'm sure many of us have had the very small plastic fastener come out and get lost. This is the one just below the handle on the outboard side.

I'm wondering if anyone here has come up with a workable replacement for the fastener. I tried a screw but once it was secure, it impinged on the mechanism that you push the button to release or set the brake.
