Car is waiting for a new engine to be put in. The engine is a 3.1 bottom end and 2.8 top end so now real motor swap, still all stock for the most part. 87 gt fastback. The car is just sitting now and i want to do stuff to it just don't know what? It's not in very good condition. So what can be done to make it a better driver after motor install?

Do you have fuel gage problems? Pull the tank, check the hose, clean the sender, maybe replace the pump if you think it is getting too old.
Install poly bushings front, rear, cradle. Install grand am brake parts or bigger.
etc. etc. etc.

Take heater blower motor resister coil out from the front firewall next to the AC accumulator and make sure no debris is in there.
