I am asking for help yet again. LOL! I have completed a manual tranny swap and I can't get the engine to crank. I know I have to swap some wires based on the change of transmission but I am at a lost as to which sets of wires. I have swapped the ECM. I can get the fuel pump relay to energize and I hear it run for a few seconds, I just can't get the starter to engage. So once again I am asking for help to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

The automatic had a big yellow wire from C500 to the P/N switch on the tranny. It left the switch as a big purple wire to the starter.
The manual has a big purple wire that goes straight from the C500 to the starter. (The "safety" switch in a normal manual installation is on the clutch pedal, and is yellow on one side of that switch, and purple all the way to the back.)
What you need to do is find where the big YELLOW wire is on the CAR side of the C500, and move the big PURPLE wire to the same pin on the ENGINE side of C500.

Sorry. I'm at work and don't have the pinouts.

You can do as Raydar said, or if you left the original engine wire harness in the car, then all you need to do is find the connector that used to plug into the transmission switch, and jump the large purple wire to the large yellow wire in the connector.

The car was originally a 5 speed that was swapped to an auto (trust me, I am already rollling my eyes) so it had a clutch safety switch, the previous owner took out the clutch pedal and all other necessary hardware so I swapped it back.

My response was based on the premise that the engine harness was a manual harness.
If it's an auto harness, just do as blooze said.

I really dont know if it is the original harness as I did not realize it was a previous manual transmission until I started working on it. I contacted the previous owner and he said the tranny was swapped years ago because his wife couldn't drive a stick shift, but he failed to tell me prior to the sale.

I got it started!! Thanks again for everyone's help!! Now I just have to rewire it so the clutch safety switch works again, I don't want to be able to start it unless the clutch is engaged. But for now I have it running again. So once again thanks for the help!!!
