Hello again fellas, and maybe gals. Another question for all you Fiero gurus. My windshield wipers on ly work on high speed and do not park. I am guessing the problem is the windshield wiper motor. Or, possibly my switch, control or what ever you might call it. Any or all thoughts welcomed.

To be clear, do they move on their own, like when hitting a bump in the road while the switch is on off? I hope it is not your switch. They are hard to get at, and pricey to replace.

No, they do not move while driving. the "work" properly other than the problems I explained. No intermit, only one speed, high, and they will not park. I have to catch them in the down position and shut them off.

From a repair manual: MOTOR OPERATES AT HIGH SPEED ONLY 1. Ensure electrical connector to gear box relay is secure, turn ignition on, and place wiper switch in low position. 2. Connect jumper wire between terminal 3 on gear box relay, Fig. 5, and ground, leaving harness connected. 3. If motor operates properly at low speed, check continuity between wiper motor and switch, switch continuity and ground, and repair as needed. 4. If motor does not operate at low speed with terminal 3 grounded, repair or replace motor.
Terminal 3 is the terminal closest to the motor in the connection that has three terminals in a row.
