Another thread got me wondering if there is any difference in the two. I am rebuilding the front and rear on my 86 GT and wanted to keep it at least rollable while I am doing it. Are they the same? Both are v6 cars.

They are identical as far as swapping out parts, but I think the GT has different spring rates.

If the SE had the WS6 suspension, then the spring rates should be the same as well...but I suspect you will be going with a nice set of lowering springs anyway.

That's what I needed! Thanks everyone. I'll be cleaning up the one that is out, then swapping them when complete. The springs will be cut, so as long as everything else is the same, I'm good.
