Hello. all. my fiero has only a dumb dumb light for oil pressure and I'd like to add a real live gauge.. where oh where is the port on the engine that you'd tape into to mount an oil gauge sending unit.. , I'm used to v8's so I have no clue on this 4 cyl and the car isn't here to look at.. and is it 1/4 or 3/8" pipe thread? as I'm sure to keep the dumb dumb light I'll have to use a tee fitting, or is there more than one place to install a sender? chevy v8's there is 2 one at the oil filter and one at the distributor.. any help greatly app.
Best place to tap would be where the current oil pressure switch is, under the intake manifold. I made a thread a while back on adding an aux gauge cluster to an 84
